Paperbacks: Loading Mercury with a Pitchfork

by Joseph McLellan?

Brautigan's first collection of poems six years shows no growth, a lot of cuteness and just enough substance to keep you reading. For example: "We meet. We try. Nothing happens, but afterwards we are always embarrassed/ when we see each other again. We look away."
